Now Registering Students for the 2025/2026 School Year

We are now registering students for the 2025-26 school year. In accordance with an agreement between the school districts of Humboldt County, December and January are the only months for students to register for a school outside of their district of residence. All interested families should contact Garfield School regarding potential enrollment for any class, TK- 6th grade. Parents of in-district Transitional Kindergartners and Kindergartners should register now as well, helping us to determine the number of additional spots that are available for out-of-district students in each grade.

If you know of anyone interested in joining us next year, please have them contact the office at 442-5471. Parent information presentations will be held on December 11th and January 15th at 5:30pm for those interested in finding out more about our school programs.

Please note that if you are planning to transfer your child to Garfield School District from a different district, the timeframe to fill out and submit the inter-district transfer agreement is December 1st through February 1st. If you are unsure what district you currently reside in, you may use the District Locator tool found on the Humboldt County Office of Education’s website.
