It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 2024 – 2025 School Year! We hope
you all have had a relaxing and fun summer break.
Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are
so happy that you have chosen to be a part of this amazing learning
community. We look forward to supporting your child in every way
possible, as has been our tradition at Garfield Elementary School since its
beginning.
As always, we are excited to share with you all that Garfield has to offer!
Our educators, support staff, families, and other educational partners are
ready for the year ahead. We will continue to strive for the academic
excellence and social and emotional well-being of all of our students, while
simultaneously focusing on inclusion and a sense of belonging.

If you are transferring from a different district, you will need to fill out and submit an interdistrict transfer agreement:
Please note that if you are planning to transfer your child to Garfield School District from a different district, the timeframe to fill out and submit the inter-district transfer agreement is December 1st through February 1st. If you are unsure what district you currently reside in, you may use the District Locator
tool found on the Humboldt County Office of Education’s website.
